Vigilance on Work Comp Needed

There have been rumblings this week that labor leaders are pushing legislators to make another charge at HF 795 and SF 155, the bills that turn Iowa's workers' comp system upside down by denying employers any oversight of medical care and treatment. Continue reading>>>

House May Debate Tax Bill Friday

After delaying the controversial tax proposal originally scheduled for debate Thursday, House Leaders have indicated they're making some revisions to HF 807 for possible debate on Friday.  The Senate has adjourned until Monday, so a rush to get the bill to the Governor this week won't happen as originally planned. Continue reading>>>
