ABI's PAC Outpaced Again
The Iowa Industry PAC, the political arm for ABI, was out-distanced by a number of anti-business PAC's according to State of Iowa records for 2008.  For example, the state employees union (AFSCME) contributed a total of $424,908 to candidates in the last election.  This dwarfs the $74,835 contributed by the Iowa Industry PAC.

If ABI is going to get back to advocating for a pro-active business agenda and not just defending against bad for business bills, the Iowa Industry PAC must grow.
