Environmental
Protection Commission Meets; Selects New
Leaders
The EPC
held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, May
19th. Two new commissioners were sworn in:
Dale Cochran and Carrie LaSeur. After the
swearing-in ceremony, election of officers took
place. Charlotte Hubbell, Des Moines, was
elected Chair, Marty Stimson-Cedar Rapids, was
elected Vice Chair and Carrie LeSeur, Mount
Vernon, was elected Secretary. Carrie
LaSeur had previously served on the Power

Support Needed
With the proposed attacks on Iowa
businesses and as Labor Unions are pushing
hard to get their radical agendas passed next
year, ABI must provide a loud and unified voice
for business in the political process. A
personal contribution of $250 or even $100
pledge to IIPAC will help "The Voice of Iowa
Business" be heard in the next
election. CLICK HERE to make a secure, online pledge today!
"My
personal investment in IIPAC will help ABI raise
the voice and visibility necessary to cultivate
candidates with a pro-business philosophy.
Work of the Iowa Industry Political Action
Committee ensures support for the right
candidate for the state legislature and other
state offices necessary to bolster a proactive
business agenda and positive public policy for
the betterment of all Iowans. I urge
everyone to invest in our IIPAC so that we can
counter the substantial coffers of opposing
PAC's and raise the voice of Iowa's
Industry."
