Pitfalls
A
number of media outlets in Iowa and around the
country are reporting that continued
unemployment benefit extensions are hurting
hiring.
Recent articles in the Cedar Rapids
Gazette and other publications report that
efforts to fill temporary jobs as well as
manufacturing jobs have been turned down from
individuals who can now receive up to 73 weeks
of unemployment benefits due to Congressional
